Originally named Newport Electro-Optics Systems, NEOS Technologies Inc. was founded in 1982. We have been designing and manufacturing Acousto-Optic devices and associated drivers since that time. In 2000, NEOS Technologies Inc. was acquired by Gooch and Housego PLC as a fully owned subsidiary. NEOS Technologies, located in Melbourne, Florida, became part of a group of companies including: Gooch and Housego, Illminster, England; Cleveland Crystals Inc., Optronics Laboratories Inc. and ChromoDynamics, located in the USA; and Landwehr Electronic GMBH, located in Norderstedt, Germany.
