The Gooch & Housego, Florida LLC AO deflectors have bandwidths of up to 100 MHz and processing times of 10 to 50 microseconds. These deflectors are used in applications for high speed 1D and 2D scanning, and optical signal processing. The deflectors which are designated -6.5DEG are manufactured with the axis of acoustic propagation 6.5 degrees off of the axis crystal axis so that the diffraction efficiency across the full bandwidth is flatter than conventional deflector devices.

The Gooch & Housego, Florida LLC high frequency Bragg cells are designed for signal processing applications with bandwidths of up to 1500 MHz. The materials for the high frequency Bragg cells are typically Lithium Niobate or Gallium Phosphide, both of which have a high figure of merit and thermal conductivity necessary to keep spurious signal levels low.
