64389.5-SYN-9.5-X:

The 64389.5-SYN-9.5-X Synchronous RF driver is designed to provide a pulse of RF energy to an AO modulator used internal to a laser cavity (Cavity Dumper) or a (Pulse Picker) used externally and is used to efficiently divert the laser beam into a second path. The 64389.5-SYN-9.5-X RF driver locks to an external input signal at 41 MHz (factory set) and delivers a RF pulse of approximately 389.5 MHz to an acousto-optic device. The pulse has a peak RF power of 10 Watts into a 50 Ohm load and a pulse width of 10nsec. The driver has RF power control, phase adjustment, time delay adjustment, and divide down electronics to synchronously output the RF pulses. Because these drivers are designed to provide synchronous operation to a customer specified cavity length, each driver is tuned to provide the precise RF drive frequency needed to output a pulse at the selected pulse rate. The 64389.5-SYN-9.5-X allows the phase of the RF frequency to be synchronized to ether a detected optical pulse or to phase of the drive frequency of a mode locker driver. The X in the model number is a customer selectable division factor which sets the output pulse repetition rate.

11389-5AM:

The 11389-5AM Non-Synchronous RF driver is designed to provide a 5 Watt RF pulse output by the application of a modulation pulse or a CW 0.5 Watt RF signal at a precise frequency to drive the Cavity Dumper or Pulse Picker device. The phase of the RF pulse is not synchronous to the applied modulation pulse.
